An interface that gives people - from working life into retirement - a dedicated place to build a bank of social circles and activities that not only aid them in maintaining their mental agility and brain power now, but also post retirement and into old age. It gives the users a social platform of sorts, not in the same way Facebook/Twitter/Instagram does, you only have very limited communication on the app - you must do social activities together to be able to see/talk to one another. This reduces all the other distractions and junk that fills and puts off this demographic off other social media platforms. With the completion of social activities, a user can monitor how it benefits their brain functioning short and long term, learn in depth about the health benefits and once they’ve surpassed a target, they are rewarded with prizes linked to experiencing something new or going back to a place that they enjoyed.
This work was in response to a brief set out by the RSA Student Design Awards entitled 'Agile Ageing'.
